Today I'm writing just to say goodbye and the winner of our Olympic Games... This term the winner is Adrián F., but Adrián E. was really near!! ...  Very good job!! I think is fair, the other two terms we have different winners, so it means you're a great group. A very good group, believe me. Adrián, I hope you enjoy your present.


And class: I really have enjoyed this course, I hope you too. You have learnt a lot and your level is very good; you have behaved nicely almost always and... well, I  have had a very good time with you. I'm going to miss you!! So have a super great holiday and enjoy, promise?

Hello my dear team!! How are you?? I'm sure really ready to be on holiday, aren't you?? I hope you can enjoy a very good summer, we will talk about this next day. And we will know the winner of our Olympic Games.


Last class we recorded a gret video in which we explained everything about our project Food is a Right, We also explained that the money we collected in our Flea Market is going to be donate to Design For Change. I think all of you have done a very good job. Thanks a lot!!

I'm very proud of you, I hope your parents have enjoyed this afternoon meeting.

Hello dear team! How are you? I hope fine and getting ready to finish school... Only two weeks and you will be on holiday! It  sounds great, doesn't it?

Helloo team, how is it going? I'm sure ok and you're happy because we do not have class next Thursday 4th June... Don't forget: that class will be done on Tuesday 30th June, right?


More things. Last class we couldn't have the flipped class that was programmed... but we were revising for our 3rd term test. Remember that THURSDAY 11th JUNE we'll have the TEST. Here you have the contents in case you didn't write or were absent:

Plus grammar studied these months, and voc, and reading activities. I told you about the format of the test and I gave you your folders to revise, although we had a look to all these contents last class.

Hi team, how are you?Is everything ok? Well, that's what I hope... the course is coming to its end both here and in your school and everything will be different for you! I hope you're motivated enough to face these last weeks.


Talking about school... last class we started a new lesson, the last one. We started working with voc related to school and subjects as these:

• Science
• Maths
• Literature
• Geography
• Economics

and some more. We practiced many listening and speaking activities... that makes me happy!

We revised this structure as well:

• Maths is harder than History
• Art is more fun than Music

And practiced these questions:

1. Which subject is the hardest?
2. Which subject is the most interesting?
3. Which subject is the most useful?
4. Which subject is the most fun?

You did a very good performance.

HOMEWORK: Write about your school. Write about 80 words and include these points:

• My school -what  it looks like, what I study
• What I like most and what I like less (subjects, teachers, facilities...)

And we can go on with our project: Our pet will meet a very famous writer... one of the best known in the world; I'm talking about William Shakespeare. So... Jorge, I can't wait to know more things about him.

Next week we'll have one special class again: we'll mix with other students to learn from them many interesting things about summer and holidays. It will be great!

Hi team! How is it going? I know you're tired because of your school exams... but, as you know, it's time to make a little effort in order to get good results.  I hope you get good marks!!


We continued working with the topic about CLOTHES and this time we learnt some new voc, especially adjectives as:

Hello class! How are you? I hope you're ok after this long weekend; I hope you enjoyed and had lots of fun

Last class we were working with voc related to clothes completing lots of activities. We practised new words while using this structure:

and described our clothes.

We learnt about traditional clothes around the world. Remember this is also the worksheet you have to work with for homework. Read the short texts, answer the questions and translate just ONE of the texts, ok? Don't forget.

And this week, again, our Dragon and us will learn interesting things about a very famous person:Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the creator of the most famous detective in the world, Sherlock Holmes.  Adrian F, I hope you enjoy learning about him.

Hi class! How is it going? Ready to finish this "short" week, right? I'm sure. And you have very easy homework that I'm sure you will complete perfectly!


Last class we had lots of fun. You behaved nicely and we could listen to "th e song"  After checking your homework (well done!) we were revising  voc  that we learnt last week. You produced sentences like these:

To start, we listened to some people in different situations talking about the things they bought. The activity was right.  And we practice some new voc. as:

Hello my dear little team! How are you? I guess you're really fine since tomorrow is Friday... you will have some time to rest and to revise the uses of  TO and FOR... remember: Never together!!


Well, last class we finished the topic of  JOBS by doing many speaking activities. First I want to say that this week I'm very happy with your homework and even with your behaviour!! I can't believe it! I hope we can have more days like this one; when everything's right everybody's happy.


We were revising voc related to jobs (in general),uniforms and tools... some of them were:

Thursday 9th April

Hello class! How are you after these days of holiday? I hope you have rested and you have had lots of fun; now it's time to work a bit hard to get good results in the last term, ok? Are you ready?


In our first class we continued working with JOBS, first of all to check what you remembered after the holidays. After the warming up session we completed some listening activities what you did very well, and we continued speaking and reading,knowing very interesting facts of some famous people with really different jobs.


In the second part of the class we continued working with the differences between present simple and present continuous and we completed and checked some activities, I'm very happy with your performance, really... For that reason, if you go on working so well, I promised to work with your favourite songs, the ones you selected last class, ok? But if you want to have your songs, you have to behave, right?


More things. As I told you last class this term we have a new project with our Dragon Pet. We are going to know lots of new things related to famous people! But important people in History; so you will have to look for some relevant information to write down in the worksheet I'll give you and then, you will add a photograph in which we could see the Dragon with you and something related to the person described.

As I explained in class, if that person is an inventor you can use his/her main invention to show in the photograph; if he or she is an explorer, you can show in a map the place he or she discover... or you can take a photo of the Dragon in disguise as you did for Halloween or Carnival... so you can be really creative!! Use your knowledge and your imagination and do your best, ok?


This week Adrian E. will teach us about  Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone. I'm really looking forward to hearing from your job!

Hello class!! How are you? We are on holiday!! I hope you have  a great time these days and you can rest and have fun and come again with lots of energy to face the last term. You deserve this week since we have worked hard these months.


Last class was very funny, we had a great flea market full of things and people and we got lots of money... unbelievable!! I hope you enjoyed as I did.


The first part of the class we were commenting on your marks and your plans for holidays; after that we were deciding the price for all the things you brought and we made some very nice labels. Also we were revising some songs we listened to during these months and we had a lot of fun.


Then we had our market. Very successful! I'm very happy with your job.


And to finish you had your marks and this time Jorge won a great bag, now you can come to class with a new one. I hope you like!

Thursday 12th March

Hi boys! How are you? I know you're tired after studying so much for your school exams... but this weeks will go very fast and very soon we are enjoying some holidays. Until then I hope you enjoy next weekend, now the weather is great!


Last class we continued with the topic about JOBS. We had lots of listening activities and they were well done; you're improving your listening skills, which makes me  happy. Also we revised present simple and present continuous. Your homework was good, too.

Last class we started a new lesson. Now we'll work with the topic of JOBS and we'll revise present simple and present continuous. Thursday 26th February

Hi boys! How's it going? I hope you're fine ready to enjoy your weekend, although maybe you have to study a lot, since the second term is coming to its end. Well, I wish you lots of luck!

This week we have finished this topic about food. Last class we revised countable vs uncountable nouns. We practised listening and speaking activities with questions such as:

• How much water do you drink?
• How many tomatoes do you eat?

And so on. You did right.

Also we listened to a chef preparing a delicious dish and you identified the ingredients and the instructions to have this dish done.

After that we were having some posters done in relation to our project. Taking advantage of our topic we got some pictures to ask for food. We wrote FOOD IS A RIGHT and we glued some examples. I'll show you the photos I took. 

And what also is coming to its end is our Pet's trips around the world. Next week we will learn about Greece thanks to Javi who will show us photos and interesting things about this unknown country. I think is a very original plan. And then with Bruno the week after we will have finished.

More things: HOMEWORK. I gave you a worksheet you have to complete. It's to revise comparative, vocabulary and coutable-uncountable. We explained in class and you said you didn't have any question... so I hope you do your best, ok? And don't forget and don't tell me stories... as you know if no homework no points.

Hi boys! How's it going? I think you're fine since it's almost weekend and have more time for yourselves, haven't  you? That's good. Also, it's good that you behaved a little better last class. Almost all of you showed me your HW and it was very good. At last!

Last Thursday we continued working with the topic of FOOD. We focused on listening and speaking activities through practising lots of conversations and role-play performances. To be honest, all of you did quite  well.

We worked with new voc when ordering a meal:

• appetizer
• sauce
• mixed fruit
• filet

and some others.

For homework you will complete some dialogues of this kind in the worksheet I gave you. Also (att the back page) you will have to write a short composition (around 60 words) about your eating habits including:

• What you have for breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner
• What time you eat
• Differences between week and weekend
• A special day/celebration

I hope this is clear and you write a good composition. If you don't do it you won't get points, right?

Next week our Dragon goes to China with Jonathan. Remember you have to explain interesting things about the country you chose, including where the country is, what the typical food and traditions are, and famous monuments as well. Please, take time enough to do a good job, ok?
