Hello class!! How's it going? Well, I hope you're ok enjoying your time, especially your free time. This is our new topic: free time and hobbies; so I hope this makes you speak as well as you did last class. Week after week you seem to take more seriously the language, I mean, at least you're trying everyday to improve your English. We're doing lots of activities based on speaking and pronunciation, this is the aim of the course. I'm glad to see that you (almost always) try your best.
Last Thursday we finished the revision of WH-questions organising some sentences. After that we introduced the new topic talking about the things you like doing in your leisure time. We pointed the importance of the structure LIKE + -ING (and some other verbs) and we practised. We completed this first part with listening exercises.
In the second part we listened to a song about hobbies and then we went on with voc related to things we enjoy doing (collecting things, reading books & comics, listening to music, playing video games, watching movies....) We practised pronunciation with a short text you will have to work with as homework. Don't forget! But just in case here you are:
You have to complete this worksheet for next day. And you Charlie remember to show some pictures of you and our Dragon. Try to tell the class the things you have done with it, especially in your free time. What abour his hobbies? Please, don't forget this time, and don't leave the Dragon at home!!
To finish here you have your points:
- Player 1: 28
- Player 2: 29
- Player 3: 20
- Player 4: 32
- Player 5: 25
- Player 6: 25
- Player 7: 31
That's all. This competition is becoming really interesting... Don't you think??
Be good, have fun, see you in class!
Bye
